Terms of service
These are the terms RS Designs works to. They are written the way we actually run a job, so there are no surprises at delivery.

Who you are contracting with
RS Designs, proprietor R.S. Muniyasamy, Gandhi Nagar, Ramanathapuram – 623501, Tamil Nadu. Work begins when you accept an estimate from us, in writing or on WhatsApp.
Estimates
Our estimate shows the rate broken down — unit rate × quantity, printing passes, and one-time charges such as composing, die or lamination — rather than a lump sum. An estimate is valid for 15 days. Material prices move, and after that we may need to re-quote.
An estimate is priced for the specification given. A change to size, quantity, material or colour count is a new price, not a variation of the old one.
Advance and balance
Jobs start on receipt of the advance shown on the estimate. The balance is payable on delivery, or before installation for signage work. Custom-printed material cannot be resold, which is why the advance is not optional.
Artwork and proof approval
Nothing goes to print until you approve the proof. Please check names, dates, spellings, phone numbers and Tamil text carefully — once you approve a proof, an error in the approved matter is chargeable to reprint. We check size, resolution, colour mode and printing marks at our end, and we will tell you if a supplied file is not fit to print.
You confirm you hold the rights to any logo, photograph or text you give us. We keep your artwork on file for repeat orders unless you ask us not to.
Delivery dates
The delivery date on the estimate is counted from proof approval and receipt of the advance, not from the date of enquiry. Delays in approving a proof move the date by the same number of days.
We hold to dates we quote. Where a date cannot be met because of something outside our control — a power failure, a material shortage, weather that prevents an installation — we tell you as soon as we know, and we do not bill for what was not delivered.
Quantity tolerance and the 3% offset allowance
Offset printing needs setup sheets before the colour settles, so a 3% waste allowance applies to offset runs. It is stated on our estimate rather than discovered at delivery. Delivered quantity may vary within this tolerance; you are billed on the quantity ordered.
Colour on a printed sheet differs slightly from colour on a screen, and between separate print runs of the same job. This is normal in the trade and is not a defect.
Installation work
For flex, glow sign and signage we mount at your site and photograph the finished work. You are responsible for site access, permission to fix to the wall or structure, electricity where a board is to be lit, and any municipal or hoarding permission the location requires. We do not fix to a structure we judge unsafe.
Billing — GST and cash
We raise a GST tax invoice where you need input credit, or a cash bill where you do not. Give us your GSTIN before we bill; a tax invoice cannot be reissued with a GSTIN added afterwards. GST is charged at the rate applicable to the item — printing services and printed goods are rated differently, and the rate is shown on the invoice.
Cancellation
Cancel before design starts and the advance is refunded in full. After design work has begun, design and composing charges are payable. Once material has been printed or cut, the job is payable in full — printed matter carrying your name has no other buyer.
If something is wrong
Tell us within 7 days of delivery. Where the fault is ours — wrong matter against an approved proof, a printing defect, a badly mounted board — we reprint or refit it at our cost. Bring or send back the affected material. Our liability is limited to the value of the job; we do not cover consequential loss.
Uncollected goods
Finished work is held for 60 days from the date we tell you it is ready. After that we may dispose of it, and the balance remains payable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu. If any clause here is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
